Breakdown
The Rab SilTarp Plus shelter offers a flexible and lightweight alternative to a traditional tent with just as much weather protection. The SilTarp Plus features a three-dimensional shape creating an open porch area in the front and a closed-off back wall for better coverage from the elements. The SilTarp Plus is extremely durable using a 30D Cordura siliconized nylon with a PU coating, this shelter is waterproof and will last for seasons of use. The SilTarp Plus is perfect for hunters who are trying to shed weight and want a light and fast camp that is easily moveable to stay with the animals you're pursuing. The SilTarp Plus is 8.5' x 7.8' offers plenty of space for a small hunting party and will pack down to 9.8" x 6.2" so it can be easily stored in your pack during the day and quickly set up at night. Additional Cordura patches have been added to the corner and pole locations to add strength and durability for repeated use. The SilTarp Plus can be set up using trekking poles or with a center ridge line if you decide to leave the poles at home to save more weight. The shelter is incredibly strong with a taped, catenary ridge seam to keep the tarp nice and taught preventing the tarp from flapping in the wind and allows rain to run off smoothly.
